Música y RFID, desde hace algún tiempo vengo trabajando con tecnología RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) y me apasiona la cantidad de posibilidades que ofrece. Más aún si pensamos que la próxima generación de telefonía móvil (algunos modelos actuales ya lo incorporan como el nexus S) vendrán dotados con tecnología NFC (Near Field Communication)  que no es más que una extensión del estándar RFID.

Interesante esta propuesta realizada con Arduino de selección de la música en función de un tag RFID sobre una superficie,

Una magnífica idea de combinar la música con una tecnología sin contactos, que hace más cómodo cambiar un álbum o una canción. Ahora si exportamos esta idea a nuestro teléfono con NFC se multiplican las posibilidades. Pasando nuestro móvil por un lector trasladaremos en un segundo no solo una canción o un disco sino la información sobre nuestros gustos musicales.

Con esta tecnología podríamos llegar a una discoteca, pasar nuestro móvil por una zona y desde ese momento el DJ conocería los gustos musicales de la gente que está en la discoteca y podría variar el estilo de la música según los clientes en cada momento. Además este reclamo serviría para conocer el perfil de los clientes de la discoteca si hiciésemos esto nada más entrar a la misma.

Es apasionante el campo de aplicaciones que se nos abren al tener un lector NFC en nuestro móvil, vamos dando pasos agigantados hacia el internet de las cosas y un claro ejemplo de ello es nuestro servicio DoitSocial.
